The Yard Machines 2-cycle 31 cc curve-shaft non-clutch gas trimmer works and runs well but requires several pulls in quick succession to start. The 16" curve-shaft gas trimmer is lightweight and easy to use. The size of the trimmer makes the unit more maneuverable for edging and trimming in confined spaces. It has a curved shaft great for getting under shrubs and trees, and a bump-head line release for added convenience.

The trimmer also includes .080-diameter dual cutting lines, and an adjustable D-handle perfectly suitable for either right or left-handed use. I think for light to moderate work, its fine. If you have thorny and thick undergrowth or even small plants with a fibrous stem, this trimmer will do your work. It cuts through everything I throw at it and I find the bumping feed easy to use. I can "edge" easily along my drive and sidewalks, too.
